05 Jul 2014

(MENAFN) The total value of Oman’s exports reached USD8.8 billion in the January-February period, down 10.5 percent on-year, while non-oil exports grew 23.9 percent, Times of Oman reported.

The decline is attributed to the fall in oil and gas exports, generating export revenue of USD5.69 billion till the end of February 2014, compared to USD6.21 billion by the end of February 2013.

Meanwhile, non-oil exports recorded a growth increase of 23.9 percent, totaling USD1.68 billion at the end of February 2014, compared to USD1.45 billion during the same period in 2013.
