(MENAFN) Mineral products sold by Omani firms valued more than USD 367.25mn in 2014; however the whole value of minerals produced in the Sultanate showed a decline.
Moreover, over the cited year the Sultanate exported its whole production of 2300 ton of copper cathodes, earning incomes of USD 15.77mn, also 165 kg of gold.
Additionally, production of marble increase to 1.56mn tons, valued USD 56.12mn, as against 1.25mn tons value USD 46.55mn produced in the year 2013.
The Sultanate produced 8.27mn tons of limestone, worth USD 25.60mn in the cited year, with corresponding numbers for 2013 being 5.48mn tons valued USD 20.17mn.
