Oman’s Saraya Bandar Jissah awarded Towell USD55.69m contract

(MENAFN) Saraya Bandar Jissah, has recently awarded the construction contract of the first residential zone package Zaha to Towell Construction & Co LLC, an excellent grade construction company part of W J Towell & Co (LLC) experienced in similar construction works in the Sultanate, Oman Observer reported.
An agreement was signed between CEO of Saraya Bandar Jissah, Shaikh Hamood bin Sultan al Hosni and Vice Chairman & Managing Director of W J Towell & Co (LLC), Imad Kamal Sultan.
The Zaha Zone package awarded contains the construction of 14 units of three-bedroom detached villas, 29 units of three-bedroom semi-detached villas and 21 blocks, each block having 4 two-bedroom apartments and 2 three-bedroom duplexes. A total of 169 properties are planned to be ready for occupation by 2016.
The gross built up area of this residential zone is 62,641 sqm and all properties are distributed on both sides of the road. The value of the Zaha contract with Towell Construction & Co LLC is USD55.69 million.
