(MENAFN) Commercial operation of Sebacic Oman’s Duqm project will start by the end of the year and open the way for exports in Q1 of the coming year.
The USD62mn facility in the Special Economic Zone of Duqm (Sezad) will export the acid to nations with high demand, like China, Japan and the U.S.
Recently, Sebacic Oman has the world’s largest Sebacic manufacturing plant, which will start exports early in 2018.
The firm has plans for the coming 10 years, while its next phase is an USD250mn project where will produce its derivatives like nylon.
