Oman’s SEZ contracts grants USD1.8b

(MENAFN) The Duqum Special Economic Zone Authority had finalized contracts worth RO 705m, which is a contracts due to be tendered out over the coming 12 months.
An official in SEZAD confirmed that construction contracts accounted for RO 625 of the total, while consultancy firms netted in excess of RO 30 million in contracts.
However, Projects awarded last month alone totaled around 49 million in value.
Also, Head of Building Projects at SEZAD said a number of prestigious contracts that are currently under tender and due for award.
