(MENAFN) Oman’s whole exports amid the Jan-Sep period of 2016 dropped 28.2 percent to OMR7.51bn from OMR10.46bn in the same period of 2015.
Moreover, the fall in export income was due to the dip in oil and gas prices in global markets, in addition to fall in non-oil exports.
In addition, the average price of Oman Crude fell to 28.9 percent to USD40.1 per barrels last year from USD56.5 a barrel in the previous year.
Meanwhile, crude oil exports posted a 33.9 percent drop, while liquefied natural gas exports were down by 30.4 percent.
