Oman’s USD51.8m extension at Sohar industrial to finish by 2017

(MENAFN) The Omani top development project of Sohar Industrial Estate with an investment of USD51.8 million will be completed in the first three months of the following year.

Additionally, this is part of a series of expansion schemes at the industrial estate for improving a number of facilities, including residential complex for workers, in a phased manner.

20 pct. of the 7th phaseat Sohar industrial estate has been done, which is divided into three sub-stages; food processing plants, 2nd for light industries and the 3rd for heavy ones.

“The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) is applying several projects to provide the infrastructure at the new expansions and attract investments,” said the director of operations.
