(MENAFN) A cash dividend of 70 percent has been offered by the board of the Oman Telecom Co. (Omantel), which is subject to an approval from the shareholders.
Moreover, the whole dividend amounts to 110 percent of the firm are paid up capital, equivalent to 110 basis per share for last year.
In addition, the group’s net profit for 2016 was OMR116.7mn, compared to OMR48.5mn in 2015.
Meanwhile, the group achieved a 3.2 percent increase in total revenue at OMR523.6mn in 2016, against OMR507.3mn in 2015.
