Omantel to continue investing in network expansion

(MENAFN) Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) said that it plans to keep investing in further growing its network in the country, Times of Oman reported.
Omantel has invested nearly USD192 million in the telecommunication infrastructure last year.
The company’s CEO said that Omantel awarded network expansion projects at USD296.9 million, mainly for 3G and 4G development.
The CEO said: “It was for five years, but we expect the project to be completed within three years.”
