Ooredoo Group income touches USD 8.78bn

(MENAFN) Ooredoo Group’s income reached USD 8.78bn in 2015, while the group net profit to Ooredoo shareholders stood at USD 0.57bn in 2015 driven by a strong EBITDA performance.
Moreover, Ooredoo customers reached 117mn at the end of 2015, an increase of 9 percent, or 9.5mn net customer adds over 2014 driven by strong performances in Qatar, Indonesia.
Group registered revenue and EBITDA increase across its key markets in 2015, whereas whole performances were impacted by the security situation in Iraq.
Additionally, the income was supported by strong revenue growth in local currency terms in Qatar, Oman, Indonesia, Myanmar, Kuwait and others.
