(MENAFN) Ooredoo Oman posted USD27.69 million profit in the first quarter of 2015, marking 22 percent rise over the USD22.7 million made in the corresponding period a year ago, Reuters reported.
The Sultanate’s second-best telecom operator also announced an increased numbers of subscribers and posted revenues of USD153.48 million in the first quarter against USD136.4 million a year ago.
The decent results are due to the sturdy investments that the firm’s had endeavored, in the past few years, concerning its network expansions, according to Ooredoo’s chief executive.
