(MENAFN) Increasing Qatar’s small and medium enterprises (SME) sector will enhance the country’s ongoing efforts to spread its economy.
Furthermore, the country will remove issues that delay the growth of Qatari SMEs, which is a huge step in the transactions of the business sector.
Additionally, Qatari economy changed from an oil-based economy to a knowledge-based economy to increase the non-oil gas sector by 7.4 percent.
The country organized 66 workshops for SMEs last year, almost 550 entrepreneurs participated in it and funding to many institutions reached USD 4.5bn.
