Qatar Airways starts first Airbus A380 flight on Doha-London route

(MENAFN) Qatar Airways announced it has launched its first A380 services on the Doha-London route, as well as its plans to add a second A380 to the Doha-London route this December, QNA reported.
According to a statement made by the airways, the addition of the A380 plane, which is known to be the world’s largest commercial airliner, to the Doha-London route will reinforce the carrier’s presence in the United Kingdom, which already has six flights a day between the two cities in addition to the direct services Qatar Airways offer from Doha to Edinburgh and Manchester.
“We are delighted to witness the beginning of the first Qatar Airways A380 commercial service. Qatar Airways is committed to offering our passengers the best possible experience when it comes to travelling with our airline, and this aircraft will set a new level of comfort for our passengers, who will also benefit from a smooth and pleasant passenger experience at the world’s newest airport, Hamad International Airport,” Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive said.
