(MENAFN) Qatar Airways has announced it will launch its first route on its new A350 Xtra Wide Body (XWB) aircraft to Frankfurt, the German business hub city, thus achieving another milestone for the carrier, QNA reported.
The new service to Frankfurt by the aircraft, which will be operated by a non-stop daily service with an A350 starting from January next year, is expected to serve both business and leisure travelers alike due to the new aircraft’s significant capacity.
Qatar Airways currently flies twice a day service to Frankfurt, with both flights will be operated by an A350 on the route.
The carrier also said they are planning to reach 146 destinations, with the launch of new services to the Republic of Djibouti, on October 26 and Asmara, in Eritrea on December 4.
“This year has truly been a Year of the Fleet for Qatar Airways. The airline has demonstrated its commitment to quality and comfort offered onboard and to providing passengers with the leading technology available in the aviation industry,” CEO of Qatar Airways said.
