Qatar Cool, QIMC sign agreement

(MENAFN) Qatar District Cooling Co. has inked a district cooling service deal with Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Co. (QIMC).
The deal involves the provision of the district cooling services with a capacity of 3.650 tons of refrigeration, along with regular maintenance to onsite equipment.
Accordingly, district cooling serves the environment by cutting the energy required to cool its tower by 40-45 percent.
In addition, the cooling energy used over the last 6 years, which has saved over 1bn kilo Watts of elect, which translates to reducing over 600mn kilograms of CO2.
