Qatar inaugurates USD33m GATH building in Doha

(MENAFN) Qatar presented the USD33m GATH nature-friendly building, situated in Doha and now open for visitors from all over the world, Arabian Business reported.
The whole construction procedures for the office block took almost two years for completion. The building is named GATH after the owner Ghanem Al Thani Holdings.
GATH building design will be applauded as one of the greenest in the gulf country. GATH is equipped with mesh shades set to decrease air conditioning needs by 10 percent compared to normal buildings.
Additionally, GATH is furnished with a hollow center set to simulate a “chimney” effect that will also be of an immense help in decreasing the cooling requirements on lower floors.
“This is a beautifully designed development, offering units of a very high quality, in an excellent location where commercial tenants will benefit from a range of amenities.” The general manager of DTZ Qatar said.
