Qatar Public Works Authority plans for USD49.9b projects

(MENAFN) The value of planned projects by Qatar Petroleum is estimated at around USD18.3 billion, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

It was revealed during the first day of MEED’s Qatar Projects conference that Qatar Public Works Authority came at the top of the list with over USD49.9 billion worth of projects.

Qatari Diar came next with planned projects at USD47.8 billion followed by Qatar Rail and Barwa Real estate with USD40.2 billion and USD25.8 billion, respectively.

QNB’s Acting Group CEO said that the largest spending would be in the infrastructure and service sectors.
