Qatar Rail signed USD17.85b contracts for Doha Metro

(MENAFN) Qatar Rail grants a number of contracts, valued at USD17.85 billion, for the initial phase of Doha Metro, in which tunneling work has been 20 percent completed, The Peninsula reported.
The initial phase includes the development work on four distinct lines: the Red Line, which is the Coast Line; the Green Line or the Education Line; the Gold Line or the Historic Line; and finally the Blue Line or the City Line.
“Qatar Rail has overcome many challenges to launch a successful tunneling phase at Doha Metro project. Our philosophy is to talk about what we have achieved, rather than share intangible promises.” The Managing Director of Qatar Rail said.
