Qatar- Sales of BMW, Mini up 21% in H1

(MENAFN) Qatar’s Alfardan Automobiles’ General Manager, Mohammed Kandeel, stated that during the first 6 months of the current year, sales of BMWs and Minis jumped 21 percent from 2011’s same period, reported The Peninsula.

Kandeel added that sales of BMW 7 Series topped sales of other BMW models, with a rise of 3 percent from a year earlier,

Sales of the BMW 5 Series surged 67 percent, followed by the BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle with an increase of 23 percent, and the BMW X6 Sports Activity Coup� was up 19 percent in first-half sales.

Moreover, sales of the BMW 6 Series hiked 186 percent.

It is worth noting that during the first half of the year, Alfardan, the official importer of BMW Group in Qatar, introduced new models, including the first BMW 4-door Coup�, the BMW 6 Series Gran Coup�, the BMW 3 Series and the sixth MINI family member, the Mini Roadster.
