Qatar signs QR7.6bn deal with Turkey for Expressway project
24 Aug 2016
(MENAFN) Qatar signed an agreement with Turkish firm Tekfen in order to construct QR7.6bn highway as part of Al Khor Expressway project.
Furthermore, the highway will span 34km, include 12 bridges and crossings and will join Doha with Lusail, Al Khor and the new stadiums.
In addition, it will also contain five lines in each direction and will be finished in 30 months, and will involve eight intersections and pedestrian.
The number of projects undertaken by Turkish contractors in Qatar hit 119 amounting to USD15bn value.
