(MENAFN) Qatar Minister of Economy and Commerce has reaffirmed the importance of bolstering investment relations between Qatar and South Africa.
Accordingly, the two nations have great potential to enhance co-op in many fields, emphasizing that the value of Qatar’s exports to S. Africa reached USD390mn in 2016.
Recently, the levels of trade do not reflect the real potential for co-op between both sides, especially as Qatar’s share of S. Africa”s total exports is only 1 percent.
Qatar has many mega projects in many fields, involving schools and hospitals in the education and health sectors, new parks and resorts, elect and water projects.
