(MENAFN) Qatar will focus on infrastructure, logistics, education and health in the 20142015 budget as shown in its proposed budget for the year, Arabian Business reported.
The LNG rich state is planning to diversify its economy and pull it away from hydrocarbon sector.
The Gulf nation’s Finance Minister said that the Qatari economy had expanded by 6.5 percent last year.
The projected growth for this year is 6 percent, mainly through a 10 percent expansion in the non-hydrocarbon sector.
