(MENAFN) The Qatari Ministry of Transport and Communications confirmed that Qatari government will launch new shipping line with India, to transport goods.
The shipping line will connect Hamad Port and both India’s Mundra port and Nhava Sheva port.
However, the ministry confirmed that carriers of the new shipping line will reach Hamad port each Friday weekly, and the first shipment will carry 710 containers with the increased as necessary.
Accordingly, the first part of the second phase of Hamad’s port will be started after signing contracts worth USD547m for the development work.
