(MENAFN) Qatar’s Supreme Council of Health (SCH) said that it plans to complete as much as 48 healthcare infrastructure projects by 2020 as part of the Qatar Health Facilities Masterplan (QHFMP), according to Arab News.
The projects comprise 31 health centers, eight diagnostic and treatment units, a general and specialized hospital, two long-term facilities and five hospital expansion plans.
Between 2015 and 2019, the general and special hospitals, two long-term facilities and four hospital expansion plans are expected to be completed.
Another hospital expansion will be completed during 2016 and 2020 while 17 more health centers are to be completed within 2018 and 2020.
