Qatar to receive 5.800 new housing units by year-end

(MENAFN) Almost 1.500 units covering almost 17 percent villas and 83 percent apartments have been added in Qatar in the Jan-March period of the year, while 8.5000 units will be received by the end of 2017.

Accordingly, an estimated 5.800 units will be added by the end of the recent year, assuming minimum construction delays, which include apartments in 5 buildings to be finished in the Pearl.

Currently, Cityscape exhibition unveiled main off-plan residential projects like Al Swida Village in Al Thumma, Lusail Azure, Telal 2 in Lusail and others.

However, median asking villa rents fell by 18 percent year on year and 8 percent quarter on quarter, while median asking rents for apartments fell by 15 percent year on year and 5pct quarter on quarter.
