(MENAFN) The Qatari Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah and Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Dr. Rajiv Shah signed a Memorandum of Understanding for collaboration on global food security, reported QNA.
The MoU intends to solidify joint research and exchange of scientists; facilitate access to sources of finance; develop Public-Private Partnerships; and facilitate technical and policy dialogues among experts and practitioners.
Al-Attiyah said that the MoU would provide a framework to realize the two countries vision to combat world hunger and to enhance global food security.
