Qatargas, KPC sign LNG agreement

(MENAFN) Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Ltd. (Qatargas 2) and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) have signed an agreement in order to supply KPC with liquefied natural gas in 2014, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
Under the agreement, eight LNG cargoes will be delivered to Kuwait by the end of the year, sources reported.
“This is a very important milestone in Qatar”s standing as a reliable energy supplier as it marks the first direct agreement between the two companies,” Qatar’s Minister of Energy and Industry said.
