(MENAFN) Qatargas’ assistant director of short-term trading, Iain Scott, said that the Qatari liquefied natural gas (LNG) producer would sustain its gas deliveries to Europe, taking into consideration market conditions, reported Arab News.
Scott added that Europe’s main importer of the company’s products was the UK, which accounted for Qatargas supplies to meet a quarter of the country’s daily demand.
He also said that if market conditions would be right, some of the company’s supplies to Europe could be diverted to higher-paying markets including Asia.
It is worth noting that Europe imports the largest proportion of Qatargas supplies.
