Qatari Fund creates 20,000 employment opportunities in Tunisia

(MENAFN) The Qatar-Tunisia Friendship Fund, established two years ago, has helped Tunisia in offering a total of 20,000 employment opportunities through the implementation of nearly 1,000 projects, The Peninsula reported.
Direct employment opportunities reached 5,600 through the Qatari projects, while indirect employment opportunities stood at 14,200, according to the Qatari Foreign Minister.
“Qatar is closely following the legislative evolution taking place in Tunisia and hopes that more flexible laws would be passed to help attract foreign investment,” the Foreign Minister said.
