(MENAFN) Qatari experts said that Qatar’s companies had posted large increase in its investments in Turkey, making it”s the second leading investor in terms of value in Turkey.
Earlier, Qatar Chamber (QC) hosted Turkish trade delegation from the Korfez Chamber of Commerce, headed by the Chairman of the Chamber Board, and during the meeting, they had reviewed means of boosting bilateral trade and investment relations in major sectors.
Qatar Chamber Vice-Chairman, Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari said: “We have some 205 Turkish companies in Qatar out of which 186 are joint ventures between Turkish and Qatari businessmen.”
However, the projects have a capital worth QR42.02m and most of them are based in infrastructure construction, contracting, engineering consultancy.
