(MENAFN) Nebras Power, the Qatari energy company, signed an MoU with National Electricity Company of Senegal for undertaking an energy and power project in the African country, the Peninsula reported.
The new project revolves around developing a general guideline for foster collaboration in the energy sector. Under the contract, Nebras will have to study the prospects of developing, funding, building and operating Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU) in Senegal.
“This MoU comes within the framework of promoting economic cooperation between Qatar and Senegal, and we hope to lay the foundations for a strong and long-lasting relationship.” An official statement said.
