(MENAFN) Ooredoo Group logged a USD9.11 billion revenue for the full year of 2014, compared to USD9.28 billion recorded in 2013, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
The Group also announced that its customer base also witnessed an increase by 12 percent, reaching 107 million in 2014, motivated by the Indonesian, Iraqi, Kuwaiti and Algerian markets.
Group EBITDA stood at USD3.55 billion against USD4.01 billion in 2013 with EBITDA margin decreased to 39 percent due to the continued strategic investments into broadband networks.
“Ooredoo is rapidly positioning itself at the heart of the digital future of our customers. Mobile infrastructure is an essential enabler of a country’s economic prosperity, particularly in developing markets,” the Chairman of Ooredoo said in a statement.
