Qatar’s Ashghal awarded USD32m contracts for zoo project

(MENAFN) Qatar”s Public Works Authority, Ashghal, announced that it awarded two contracts for towards the development of the New Doha Zoo project, Arabian Business reported.
Ashghal has awarded two contracts worth USD32.4 million for works and the design and build for the animal relocation facility at Rawdet Al Faras.
A USD12.3 million contract, awarded to Aswan Trading and Contracting Company, is for site preparations that include the removal of buildings on the site.
The second contract, at a value of USD20 million, was awarded to Medgulf Construction Company for the design and construction of temporary housing facility for animals in Rawdet Al Faras.
