(MENAFN) Barwa Real Estate Group’s CEO, Abdulla Abdulaziz Al Subaie, said that in 2012’s second quarter, the company would deliver the USD659 million Barwa Al Sadd project in Doha, reported Arabian Business.
Al Subaie added that more than 99 percent of the residential and commercial development was completed, and the company has leased all housing units and 2 of three office towers on the project.
He also said that final project preparations were underway, following the completion of work on the project as a whole; on the other hand, he said that also in the quarter, the Qatar-based real estate giant and its subsidiaries would be forecasted to re-locate to new headquarters in the third office tower.
It is worth noting that Barwa Al Sadd project covers 27,654 sq m, and consists of a commercial and residential complex and features 3 office towers, with two consisting of 21 floors, and the third 18 floors, while a five-star hotel is also included, in addition to 3 apartment buildings, parking for 1,702 cars and a retail center.
