Qatar’s hospitality sector to increase by 27 percent

(MENAFN) Qatar’s hospitality sector is predicted to view whole count of room keys increasing to 23,000 by the end of this year, logging an increase of 27 percent.
Accordingly, the whole supply will be almost 23,000 hotel and service apartment keys, while currently there are near to 19,000 hotel and service apartment keys in Qatar.
In addition, a whole of 1,460 keys started in 2015 in the country, the most current openings involved properties like the Double Tree by Hilton Doha Old Town and the Shangri-La Hotel Doha.
Some hotels organized to open in 2015 have been pushed to first and second quarter of this year, because of planning and licensing delays.
