(MENAFN) The combined value of inter-Arab investment inflow into Qatar touched an estimated USD22.5 billion for 12 years ending in 2014, newly released data showed.
The country’s total investment outflow to Arab countries crossed USD31 billion during the period. Total value of inter-Arab investment projects between 2003 and 2014 is estimated at more than USD370 billion.
Snatching projects worth a total value of USD97.2 billion, Egypt topped the list among the countries that witnessed inter-Arab investment inflows during the period, followed by Iraq with USD35 billion.
Saudi Arabia ranked fourth with USD23.8 billion, with a share of 6.4 percent of the total investments. Qatar ranked seventh with a stake of 6.1 percent of the total investments.
