(MENAFN) Jet fuel consumption in Qatar has jumped with the country posting a demand growth of 96.6 percent between 2010 and 2016.
Furthermore, the UAE is behind Qatar with the emirate’s jet fuel demand increasing in excess of 51 percent amid the same period.
However, the rapid expansion in consumption growth will slow over the long term and could be a risk in the Middle Eastern aviation hubs.
The geostrategic position of Middle Eastern nations eases a key gateway between Europe, North America and Asia and many large hub airports boost local demand for jet fuel.
