(MENAFN) The non-hydrocarbon sector in Qatar GDP share touched 63.8 percent in 2015, up from 48.9 percent in 2014.
Moreover, the building and construction sector was the direct beneficiary of the program, contributing an estimated 2.2 percentage points to the GDP growth.
Additionally, manufacturing was one of the major growth sectors with a contribution of 0.7 percentage points, reflecting the hydrocarbon value up.
However, Qatar’s hydrocarbon production dropped by 0.2 percent last year compared to 2014, due to lower crude production.
