Qatar’s Rosneft signs USD1.5b deal with BP

(MENAFN) Qatar’s Rosneft has recently signed its second agreement with BP since sanctions were imposed on the Russian oil company’s chief executive, according to the Peninsula Qatar.

The agreement was signed in Khabarovsk in Russia”s far East in the presence of BP’s Chief Executive Officer Bob Dudley.

Under the agreement, Rosneft will supply the British company with up to 12 million tons of oil products which can be replaced by oil.

Rosneft said that the deal has been prepaid of USD1.5 billion, and has been arranged by a number of leading global financial institutions
