(MENAFN) Qatar Telecommunication Company (Qtel) said that it realized $659 million in net profits in the first nine months this year, compared with $631 million in the same period of 2009, Kuna reported.
Qtel said in a press release revenues grew by 14.4 percent to $5.49 billion against $4.8 billion in the January-September period of 2009.
According to the release, the number of Qtel’s clients rose to 68.9 million by end of last month.
It is worth mentioning that Qtel is a public shareholding company and is active in 17 countries.
