Ras Al Khaimah government sets up RAK economic zone

(MENAFN) Ras Al Khaimah government has launched the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, a new authority set up to consolidate and operate the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone and RAK Investment Authority.
Moreover, RAKEZ covers almost 33mn square meters of land and housing and hosts more than 13.000 firms, recently served by RAK FTZ and RAKIA.
Meanwhile, the two free zones started their co-op last year by joining their boards and management teams, controlled by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi.
Accordingly, the formation of RAKEZ mars an essential milestone for the free zone landscape in Ras Al Khaimah.
