Rosneft aims joint oil supplies to Egypt with Italy-Eni

(MENAFN) Russia’s oil producer Rosneft and Italian energy Eni have inked a deal to increase collaboration, involving in possible joint oil product supplies to Egypt.

Additionally, the agreement was signed as part of Italian Prime Minister Visit to Russia, amid which he met with Russian President Putin.

Accordingly, the deal calls for expanded co-op in hydrocarbon production, refining, marketing and trading, involving the Egyptian Zohr offshore project.

Moreover, Eni controls 50 percent of Zohr project, while Rosneft owns more than 35 percent and BP, up to 15 percent.
