(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based hotel operator Rotana Hotels unveiled plans to open three to four hotels in Qatar, to tap on the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022, Arabian Business reported.
Rotana is operating one hotel in its Qatar portfolio, with a second scheduled to open in Doha City Centre in December.
Chief Operating Officer Omer Kaddouri said that Rotana aims to have five or six hotels in Qatar by the World Cup comes up.
The hotelier has a portfolio of 70 properties across MENA region and operates four sub brands which include Rotana Hotels & Resorts, Centro Hotels, Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts and Arjaan Hotel Apartments.
