S.Qassem Majeed Alawi wins $250,000 cash plus 250,000 Air Miles from Al Hayrat!

Al Hayrat is BBK’s unique savings account that presents exciting opportunities for customers to win prizes while they save. Today, BBK made the announcement that everyone has been waiting for – The winner of the Al Hayrat’s Quarter million cash prize of $250,000 plus 250,000 Air miles from Gulf Air. The raffle draw took place on November 2nd under the supervision of Mr. Shafi Al Balooshi of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The winner, S. Qassim Majeed Alawi received the news of his win with absolute shock and disbelief. he stated: “I could not believe the news! I honestly thought it was a prank. I have never won anything before in my life and I am very grateful and excited about this life changing prize.”
When asked about his plans for the life changing cash prize, Mr. Alawi said “I will use some of the cash to pay off my debts and utilize the rest to start a project that I have long dreamed of but was not able to pursue. Thanks to this prize from Al Hayrat, I can finally see my dream come to reality.
I am also especially pleased to have won those 250,000 free Air miles from Gulf Air, as I am an avid traveller and would love to use them to explore the world along with my family”
He added: “On this occasion, I would like to thank BBK for this wonderful opportunity which will surely cause a great positive shift in my life”.
The handover ceremony took place on Thursday November 10th, where Mr. Alawi was presented with a cheque for $250,000 plus 250,000 Air Miles by Mr. Ahmed Salah, the head of liabilities and Ms. Nada Bubshait, the head of Retail Marketing.
It is worth nothing that the 2016 Al Hayrat scheme will be culminated by the biggest cash prize in Bahrain worth $1,000,000 in addition to 1,000,000 Air miles from Gulf Air.
