(MENAFN) US-based Servigistics said that the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) has selected its service parts management solution for supply chain optimization, a key element of the Saudi Emdad project, a state of the art redesign of RSAF’s logistics network.
Servigistics is a provider of the enterprise software platform for service lifecycle management (SLM) based in Atlanta, US.
The Servigistics software will be integrated with GOLDesp, the advanced maintenance and supply solution from Miro Technologies that serves as the central logistics application for Emdad, the company said in a statement.
RSAF selected Servigistics because of its strong global presence, successful record in Aerospace and Defense, and proven capability to integrate a logistics network’s supply and demand with maintenance, to achieve greater weapon system availability for the War Fighter at lower levels of inventory investment, it added.
