(MENAFN) Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is set on undertaking an expansion project, in which the company will add 80 new aircrafts to its current fleet by 2020, Reuters reported.
The size of the fleet is going to be expanded by 60 percent, according to a top corporate executive. In details, however, the current fleet of 119 planes will be increased to 200, the firm’s director general said.
In the process, new international and local routes will be added. Purchases and the financing strategy remains yet undisclosed by the airline.
