Saudi Arabia offers USD 10mn to fight nuclear terror

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia donated USD 10mn to launch a special center to fight nuclear terrorism at the Intl’ Atomic Energy Authority in Vienna.
Moreover, the kingdom also donated USD 133.26mn for the modernization of the agency’s laboratories in Seibersdorf.
Accordingly, the kingdom is one of the main countries to have supported global resolutions linked to nuclear safety.
In addition, it has also confirmed the Convention of Physical Protection of Nuclear Material and helped initiatives in the fight against nuclear terrorism.
