(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia topped the list of online job opportunities in the Middle East, on Monster Employment Index, over the last year, with 56 percent growth, Arabian Business reported.
UAE came in second place with 36 percent growth, followed by Bahrain with 13 percent rise in December, its first positive movement since July, while Oman saw a 12 percent decline, according to the index.
Online opportunities exceeded December 2010 levels in five of the seven countries monitored in the region by the index.
According to Monster, Banking and financial services led all industry sectors for annual growth, while education and healthcare also showed strong growth, while oil and gas was the only sector to record an annual decline.
Monster Employment Index Middle East generally hit three percent in December compared to the previous month.
