(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia-based Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company announced plans for constructing a USD100 million fruit-juice factory in Egypt, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
The company’s vice president of strategy and business development said that the money will cover buying the land and building the factory.
The firm sees Egypt as a regional hub mainly for Algeria and Libya. Auajn plans to build the factory regardless of the political turmoil in the country that has been ongoing for three years now.
The vice president said: “The plant will be commissioned between 2016 and 2017. We just started working on it.”
