(MENAFN) The Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs announced that the country has allocated USD666.09 million in contracts to be awarded to companies to clean up the holy sites during Haj period.
The contracts were awarded to several specialized firms, covering five cleaning zones in the holy sites. These were worth over USD158.45 million, USD128.63 million, USD129.19 million, USD124.6 million, and USD138.1 million.
The minister praised the country’s leaders and the various government and private agencies working to provide top quality services for visitors performing the Haj this year.
